Experienced Primary Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Group Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Psychotherapy, and Mental Health Counseling. Strong healthcare services professional with a Master's degree focused in Addiction Prevention and Treatment from Cambridge College. I have extensive skills in helping adolescents and young adults to overcome addiction and emotional/mental disorders. For 29 years I have educated and counseled individuals & groups, planning and facilitating community events to promote personal healing. My strengths include instituting and leading ‘therapeutic communities’ crisis counseling, clinical assessment and special event organizing, including a campus-wide ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition, therapeutic games, and theatrical recovery-based presentations. I have also instructed fitness /wellness programs for recovering young people. Looking for a position that can utilize my experience in all aspects of the addiction field!
