About Jack Cameron

I am a communications professional with over three years experience working in government communications across proactive, crisis and strategic comms. I have experience providing media handling advice to senior stakeholders (such as ministers, special advisors and policy officials), leading on proactive announcements, dealing with reactive enquiries and setting out long-term strategic campaigns. I am well versed in drafting high-quality copy including national op-eds and press releases, managing stakeholder relationships with high profile public figures and organisations, and creating digital assets using photo editing and graphics software for the department’s social media accounts. After taking a career break, I’m looking for roles within comms and marketing. As well as my comms experience and skillset, I have an interest in music production and creative coding with years of experience using production software including Pro Tools and Ableton, as well as basic coding/programming skills in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
