About Jack Carden

Like many, I am very eager to get a foot on the airline ladder but, unlike many, I have had the privilege of flying hands-on across the UK and Ireland over the past 3 years in the humble Partenavias of Ravenair. It is at Ravenair I have had the opportunity to build flying hours and invaluable experience as PIC of a light MEP aircraft which has allowed me to grow and develop in more ways than I realised flying ever could. My passion for aviation is a strong one and it seems the more I fly, the more I enjoy it! I’ll never be bored of the intense, single pilot, hands-on and freeing feeling I get when flying as a survey pilot but that said, I want to try my hand at another aspect of flying; That of an airline pilot! I like to knuckle down and get on with the job as I take great satisfaction from a good graft and a hard day’s work. Times are obviously uncertain around the airlines regarding the current economic state but, I am not going to be deterred from getting onboard with an airline by such things; I want to keep pushing myself to achieve a career I have yearned and worked hard for since my school years.
