About Jack Chong

Passionate is the word I would use to describe how I feel about working in the healthcare industry. My journey began as a Field Service Engineer, and throughout my career, I've remained deeply committed to this industry, where I believe my work contributes to positive change in society. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with diverse teams across various cultures, gaining invaluable experiences along the way. These interactions have shaped my ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and further fueling my passion for healthcare. In my previous role, I gained regional service support experience, where I provided technical service training and support to appointed service distributors and technical service centres across Southeast Asia (SEA) as well as supporting the commercial teams for new product launches. My strong interpersonal and communication skills have been essential in training, managing, and supporting service distributors to ensure top-tier service delivery. In all, I have accumulated 20 years of working experience, of which 18 years is concentrated in healthcare and 2 years in Material/Life Science industry, and with added regional responsibilities since 2019 in SEA/APAC. Currently, in my new role based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. I work closely with my counterparts across the APAC region to enhance service delivery and manage escalations, ensuring that any challenges are addressed efficiently and effectively. I am excited to continue growing within the healthcare industry, leveraging my skills and experience to drive meaningful impact.
