About Jack Christensen

My Passion is to assist individuals, teams, companies, etc. to adapt and overcome difficulties in a continuously evolving and changing environment. I believe that agile can be the right decision if the reason for change is comprehended before applying agile approaches. One of core values of agile is frequently disregarded, which is that individuals and interactions > processes and tools. Agile is a cultural transformation, not merely tools and framework, and psychological safety must be the core of the transformation to acquire value from agile. Without psychological safety in the workplace, it will be impossible to question the status que and effectively execute agile. As an Aspiring Agile Coach, my experience as a Scrum Master, combined with my knowledge of various Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Lean, etc.) and concepts such as psychological safety and change management, will be valuable in helping teams adopt Agile practices and mindset. My hands-on and educational experience in leading large-scale Scrum of Scrum teams and my successful start-up of a local student network with a Council and funding demonstrate my leadership and problem-solving skills. My years of experience in the service industry show my ability to work well with people, which is an essential trait for an Agile Coach who will be helping teams to improve their collaboration and teamwork. Additionally, I have inspired others to create their own local student network, further showcasing my ability to mentor and guide individuals and teams towards success.
