About Jack Colthurst

I am a Managing Associate in the London office of Linklaters, with a particular focus on contentious restructuring and insolvency, and commercial litigation. I have experience of an extensive range of commercial litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution and dispute-avoidance advisory work, and attained the Higher Rights (Civil) qualification in November 2015. I am an experienced litigator, having participated in a significant number of reported trials in the Senior Courts, including several High Court trials (among them a Financial List trial and a 'heavy' trial in the Commercial Court), multiple appeals in the Court of Appeal, and a permission application (and preparation for an appeal) in the Supreme Court. In addition to contentious restructuring and insolvency work, I have a particular interest in disputes in the Technology and Communications, Financial Services, and Aviation and Defence sectors, although I have also engaged in a range of work in other sectors and have a broad commercial practice.
