Hello, and welcome to my LinkedIn profile! ‍ About Me: Howdy, my name is Jack, and for as long as I can remember I have been an avid as well as passionate football, baseball, and basketball fan. Since I was in diapers my family has taken road trips across the United States and I have had the privilege of getting to see every current major league ballpark as well as the old Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Turner Field, and Rangers Ballpark. Growing up some of my favorite teams were the Dolphins, Astros, and Spurs, then for players it has to be Tim Lincecum, Albert Pujols, Hunter Pence, Mike Evans, Calvin Johnson, and Barry Zito in no particular order. Professional Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, I am known for my organizational prowess, attention to detail, and proactive approach to problem-solving. Additionally, my experience in live broadcasting has honed my ability to deliver engaging commentary and connect with audiences on a personal level. Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in History at Texas Tech University, I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and understanding of the world both inside and outside the classroom. Sports Broadcasting Experience: As a play-by-play announcer for the New Home Leopards with Lone Star Sports Radio, I had the privilege of calling exciting football games and engaging listeners with my enthusiastic commentary. My ability to provide real-time analysis, capture the excitement of the game, and connect with the audience has been instrumental in enhancing the fan experience. Research Contribution: In addition to my broadcasting experience, I have contributed to impactful research projects as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas Medical Branch. This role allowed me to further develop my analytical skills and critical thinking abilities, providing valuable insights into the world of academia. Achievements: I am honored to have received scholarships including the 2020 Moody Foundation, 2020 Mary Cecile Chambers, and 2020 Texas Tech University Presidential scholarships, recognizing my academic achievements and commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.
