About Jack Dean

I am an experienced risk management professional within Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory team, based in Washington DC. I began my career at Deloitte UK, prior to transitioning to the US, where I live with my wife and 8 month old son, Harrison. I am passionate about helping to solve complex challenges for my clients. My projects focus around risk and control, through both Internal Audit and Advisory engagements. My particular area of expertise is supporting my clients through the various stages of the SOX control lifecycle. This includes both new filers, embarking on the challenging prospect of their first year of SOX, through to helping modernize SOX control frameworks; improving both efficiency and quality, whilst reducing the cost of compliance. I co-lead Deloitte's SOX Center of Excellence in the US, helping to connect Deloitte professionals together to share cutting-edge thinking and resources in order to help meet client needs on both a national and global level.
