About Jack Duggan

My story within sport isn't to become ‘the best’, while I'm competitive at sport, my role in sport is to bring enjoyment, passion, and inclusion both directly & in-directly to all. My philosophy is to create opportunities for others to exceed their own expectations through the art of play in a fun & safe environment while sharing/ exploring knowledge & experience. This comes by creating everlasting ripple effects. Each time I re-read & reflect on it, I get more excited! Over my sporting career, it has grown my adaptive mindset, knowledge, experience, & connections to allow me to move into a breadth of roles and fulfil it with great expectation & without personal challenge. I'm proud to say that I've been Tutoring, Assessing, & Hosting courses for British Gymnastics for over a decade, which this has recently extended to Tutoring Safeguarding courses for UK Coaching.#Proud #ContiniousLearning The sport & leisure industry has brought me experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and contacts, in the world of sports coaching, personal training, leisure management, and sports management and of course - mentoring, judging, and all round advising. Every stepping stone of my career has been an extension to an amazing journey; volunteering at a wide range of sporting events, doing virtually every job within leisure centres from assisting managing to cleaning & finance, personal training with a key focus on FMP, sport coaching where I developed into gymnastics, sports management, and then my current status of event management which again I've develop from club level to performance (Home Nation). I love to continuously improve my own skill set to ensure that the customer experience & customer journey is maximised for all those linked in a multitude of ways. Therefore, having a creative, outside thinking, and theoretical mindset I love to break things down to re-build within a collaborative & effective way without forgetting it's historic & original purpose. I'm always happy to talk more on experiences, challenges, and insight to create more & new opportunities for the community to participate within physical activity & sport.
