About Jack Eagen

Lived in Asheville, NC for 9 years and ran my own production company with my business partner Sam Spragins- Down Poor Pictures. Nearly five years ago I moved to Raleigh from Asheville to begin working at Uptone Pictures as the senior editor and studio manager. I cut TV shows, trailers, promotional work, as seen on TV ads, Feature Films, music videos. you name it. I also acted as the manager to the CMDDistribution global headquarters. A distribution company owned by Uptone Pictures. Over time we shifted from being mostly focused on DVD distribution with companies like Walmart to eventually building its very own Roku App. I managed the conversions and delivery of feature films to continents around the world while deligating the studio work to our Jr. Editors and intern program. Although I enjoyed my position, and I am sorry to see that studio close while restructuring, many other new opportunities, and projects have kept me more than busy. I find myself operating simply under my basic website JackEagen.com. for now.
