As a highly driven young healthcare professional, I possess considerable experience within Northern Irish public health bodies including the BHSCT and AFBI. This background has fostered a passion for contributing to scientific innovation and my firm belief that collaborative partnerships driven by patient need is the most effective solution to improved accessibility of better healthcare at the community level. Working within both human and veterinary public health settings has developed a demonstrable understanding for the procedural, communicative, and administrative competencies required to carry out associated diagnostic workflows to completion, from patient/client presentation to results deliverance. Attaining a BSc in Biomedical Science from Warwick University has instilled a resolve to deepen the breadth of knowledge this degree provided me, whilst pursuing the most impactful real-world applications of my current skillset and expertise. Excellent communication skills and a determined work ethic. Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrable organisation skills. Independent thinker, with strong interpersonal skills and experience of working effectively on own initiative and as part of a team. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and statistical software.
