About Jack Gorman

I’m a cybersecurity professional with over 15 years of IT experience across education and healthcare. My background spans Windows Server, Office 365, and network infrastructure, but in recent years my focus has shifted to cyber security - an area where I’ve built both technical and governance expertise. I hold CompTIA Security+, CySA+, and have provisionally passed the CISSP exam with (ISC)², alongside being a Microsoft Certified Professional. My hands-on work includes vulnerability management, penetration testing, incident response, and risk mitigation, as well as delivering cyber awareness training across the organisation. In my current role as IT Technical Lead, I also manage and mentor a support team, oversee technical projects, and drive security initiatives to strengthen resilience. I’m now looking to apply my skills in a dedicated security role, particularly within governance, risk, compliance, and incident response, across the South West UK.
