About Jack Gregor

I recently completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management (HRM). I have experience as a sole trading personal trainer where I demonstrated a high business acumen. My two full-time employment positions in Australia were jobs I held for over four years. Firstly, as a call center customer service agent, I work in a federal grants and business registration contact center representing the federal government Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER). Secondly, my most recent full-time role was as a Case Officer within the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) where I represented the Victorian Government as a public servant. I have proven experience in training and knowledge sharing with staff and key stakeholders from both full-time roles above. Leaders from grant programs would visit the contact centre and I would explain work processes relating to responding to inbound phone, live web-chat and email contacts. At DJCS I developed and published training materials through the cloud based program ProMapp and conducted one on one training sessions with new staff to teach them all of the KSAOs required to perform well as a Case Officer. In a previous fundraiser part-time role for Doctors Without Borders in Norway, I was regarded as a motivational leader by my coordinator. She stated that I share knowledge and sales tactics with colleagues and inspire them to work hard to achieve team goals. In primary school, I was a sports house captain and as a teenager I was the captain of my local Australian Football team. I intend to pursue an HRM position as an HR Generalist or a Training or Learning and Development Officer upon graduation in a full-time capacity. For now, I will be networking and developing applicable Human Resource Management skills that will allow me to thrive once I gain employment within the industry.
