About Jack Grindle

I am a recent MBA graduate from the University of Worcester, having also completed a Civil Engineering degree at Kingston University, looking to secure a Graduate level Analyst position to use and further develop my analytical skills and knowledge in a practical and fast-paced environment. My goal is to assume a role which allows me to take responsibility for the scientific and statistical analysis and interpretation of commercial data for a well-respected and market-leading leading company. My current and previous work history has seen me develop into a results driven team player with experience in finance & investment. I am adept at implementing new strategies & solutions in order to improve both quality and efficiency. Armed with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage a wide range of responsibilities. Articulate and personable communicator with well-defined problem-solving and negotiation skills. Proficient in Mat Lab, Microsoft Office, and Python. Prior to my MBA I studied Civil Engineering, where I further developed my strong analytical and problem solving ability. I have conducted research into coastal engineering and it’s effects on the UK, and the impact of behavioural finance (through Game Theory) and its ability to increase returns in investment vehicles (particularly Hedge Funds).
