About Jack Higgins

My employment history dates back to 2015 when I first obtained employment with Cross' SuperValu Newbridge. I transitioned into catering in 2016 when I began working for Momentum Support as a kitchen porter in the Curragh Camp army kitchens, where I stayed until March 2018 before moving to Tallaght. While living in Tallaght, I continued to work in the catering sector, working as a kitchen porter in places such as A&L Goodbody, JFK Industrial Estate and 1GQ. In 2019, I returned to County Kildare but was still working in Dublin, where I became a locksmith at Central Key and Hardware on Frederick Street. In 2020 I returned to Catering as a kitchen porter for Aramark in the AIB call centre in Naas. I stayed with Aramark until 2021, briefly becoming a breakfast cook until my departure in October 2021 when I began working for Schlötter Ireland DAC, where I remain to this day. I started out in production where I mainly repacked chemicals from barrels and IBC's into smaller containers, and I transitioned into the stores department in 2024 where I have become proficient in Microsoft programmes, booking in stock, answering emails, and any other duties assigned by the Stores Supervisor and/or Manager. I hope to become a DGSA in the near future.
