About Jack Hincenbergs

I'm a guy who lives to draw. My main strengths are environment and character concepts. I'm able to create detail-oriented environments with consistent design, atmosphere, and lighting. For characters I have a solid foundation in basic anatomy and costume design, and how these figures look while they move. Presently I am a Background Artist at Copernicus Studios in Halifax, working on a new series. Previously I did some freelance work for a fun new Pop Culture series that debuted last year on CTV. I also worked on live shows across Canada and and the US where I managed the animated screens of the stage productions. I spent my internship creating storyboards and designing characters, props, and environments for an ancient Egypt feature film concept for a Sheridan Professor who previously worked at Disney. I'm aware of the production process and how an artist must keep a constant line of communication to different areas of production, and how important it is to be able to respond to direction.
