About Jack Hitching

I am a recent First Class BSc Mathematics graduate from the University of Exeter, passionate about pursuing a career as a qualified accountant/ actuary. During my time at university, I developed a variety of skills, including strong technical expertise in coding platforms such as R and Excel. I thrive in teamwork and have built lasting friendships through collaborative projects. Working for Tempus, I undertook a range of administrative tasks, requiring numerical accuracy, attention to detail alongside the ability to work on multiple projects with tight timescales for delivery. Tasks include data entry, using technical software tools and other quantitative analyses (including Mathematical modelling), the processing of survey results using Excel and assisting in the preparation of statutory reports. Proficient in MS software including word and excel at an intermediary standard. Additionally, I also have experience in computer software using R and MATLAB, where i performed tasks such as large scale data analysis, manipulation and developing predictive models.
