About Jack Jacobsen

I'm Jack Jacobsen, MSW, LCSW and a specialist in the treatment of anxiety disorders specializing in contemporary behavior therapy and mindfulness based approaches. I am currently in private practice and use evidence based treatments to help people take back their lives from the devastation of anxiety. I regularly travel and train other therapists in empirically supported treatments and was previously part of the national training team for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, responsible for helping to train couples therapist from around the country. I also teach empirically supported treatments to graduate students and other professionals at The Brown School of Social work at Washington University in St. Louis. I am deeply passionate about the work that I do, and I find a great deal of personal satisfaction in helping clients to create the lives they want. I also find a great deal of enjoyment in helping other clinicians to develop clinical skills and knowledge. I am available to speak on best practices for the treatment anxiety and mindfulness based therapy.
