A graduate of Loughborough University with a second class upper division bachelor of science degree in the school of chemistry, including a diploma of industrial studies. My industrial studies were conducted at Aberthaw power station (one of RWE's coal-fired power stations) where I aided with the compositional analysis of cyclic amines used on the pilot carbon capture plant. Analytical reports to the operating team led to information with regards to energy performance and the carbon capture potential of the specific cyclic amines used. Currently studying as a Ph.D. student at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Hua Song. We focus on the activation of methane using co feedstocks such as light naphtha feeds via catalysis, nominally zeolitic MFI's.
