Background
About Jack Langloh
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. I love all Baltimore Sports. I am an Eagle Scout and an active volunteer for my local Meals on Wheels program. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it is hiking, fishing, hunting, or camping. I am an Honors student at Texas Christian University, double majoring in Business Information Systems and Finance, and I am on track to get my FinTech Certificate. At TCU, I am involved with several clubs, intramural sports, and the service group, Impact of Words.I am an organized and thorough worker. I love being able to manage and see a project through from start to finish. Whether it is giving a speech or entering data into an excel sheet, once I start on a task, I will be absorbed my work until it is done. I enjoy having a sense of purpose and importance whenever I work. While I pride myself on all the work that I do, I love my life outside of work and school. Family and friends are the most important aspects of my life. I enjoy watching baseball or playing disc golf with my friends. I love my parents, siblings, and pets. My greatest aspiration in life is to have a family of my own. Friends and family come first, but my health is a major priority as well. You can find me at the gym any day of the week, playing ultimate frisbee with my team on Thursdays, and occasionally out for a run in my neighborhood.Although I have only been at TCU for two short years, I have already gained a deeper understanding of the world around me. In my Strategy Internship, I have been able to apply some of the technical skills and many of the soft skills that I have been learning at school.I am new to the workforce. However, I see my youth as my biggest advantage. I have more drive than those who have been working for years. I am not afraid to make mistakes, and I know there is much to learn from every mistake I make. Most importantly, I understand the world. I know how my generation thinks. I know how to interact properly and respectfully with all individuals. My unique perspective is one of the greatest skills that I bring to the table, and it is what makes me an excellent candidate for any position.
