Hi, I’m Jack, a student at the University of Florida, studying Plant Science and Professional Selling. I recently completed a two year Business Development Internship at Satlantis US, a market leader in electro-optical small satellite technology based in Gainesville, Florida. In my role, I scouted commercial opportunities and US government grants, conduct in-depth market research, and built relationships with key industry stakeholders. Working alongside a talented team, I’ve been able to deepen my expertise in both technical and business development areas. Before joining Satlantis, I honed my sales skills on the ground in Houston, Texas, selling home solar systems door-to-door. This role presented daily mental and physical challenges, pushing me to succeed professionally in a demanding environment. As the Business Director for Florida Rocket Lab at the University of Florida, my primary focus is on securing sponsorships and raising funds to support our team's rocket technology projects. While balancing this role with my full-time studies, I work closely with industry partners and potential sponsors to ensure we have the resources needed to achieve our goals. This experience has sharpened my skills in business development and relationship management within the aerospace sector.
