About Jack Lunitz

Sports have always been my passion, and I am committed to turning that passion into a career.Last summer, I interned with Special Olympics Florida, an experience that gave me valuable perspective on both sides of sports. I gained firsthand experience supporting athletes and contributing to their growth, while also learning the operational and administrative work required to run a sports organization. At the University of Florida, I serve as President of the Gator Sport Management Organization (GSMO). My focus is integrating GSMO into the culture of the UF Sport Management Department across both undergraduate and graduate programs. I aim to build lasting connections between students, faculty, and industry professionals to create a stronger, more unified sport management community at UF.Previously, I served as Vice President and Head of Operations. In that role, I helped connect dozens of students to internships and jobs, founded a partnership program with Special Olympics Florida, led a cabinet of more than 20 student leaders, and expanded GSMO’s presence and impact throughout the department.I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Florida and am now pursuing my Master of Science in Sport Management. Sports are how I build relationships, serve my community, and pursue my professional goals. My dream is to work in professional sports, and I am excited to continue learning, growing, and making an impact in this field.
