About Jack Mathews

I've been in the commercial and residential casework construction business since 1985, wearing many hats along the way – from plant manager to estimator and engineer. I transformed a small, family-owned cabinet shop into a thriving commercial casework manufacturer with over $1 million in annual sales. I love working with owners, architects, and general contractors to create the perfect millwork solutions for each project. Every project is personal to me, and I’m passionate about delivering top-notch quality work every time. When I joined Cooperworks in 2020, I led efforts to scale the operation. I developed the business plan to secure financing, selected our capital equipment, and managed all phases from demo to building inspection and everything in between. While overseeing the build, I bid on future work and generated over $1M in sales in the first year. I was honored with the Extra Mile Award for “going above and beyond” in building the foundation of Cooperworks. At Cooperworks, we manufacture custom, plastic laminate cabinets and countertops for medical, dental, laboratory, veterinary, educational, and multi-family settings. We are committed to making your project experience seamless from start to finish. We work closely with our customers on design and materials and proactively manage milestones to keep everything on track. We are committed to offering sustainable casework materials. Delivering quality casework is our top priority; all our products are built to AWI specifications. We’re active in the St. Louis chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and offer continuing education courses for Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) credit.
