About Jack McNamara
Having spent my first 23 years in Melbourne, Australia, I relocated to London in 2011 to take my second bachelor; BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear at London College of Fashion. Previous to the move I completed a Bachelor of Production Design at the University of Melbourne. In London I have accumulated extensive industry experience with Nasir Mazhar, Hunter Original, Georgina Goodman and in my current role as Footwear Designer at Jimmy Choo. My strong proficiency as a maker means that I am able to truly interrogate the possibilities of an idea and fully exploit its potential. It also means that I am able to hold meaningful and informed dialogue with manufacturers and suppliers during the product development process.
