About Jack Michaud

When I was in 5th grade, the teachers had asked every student the age old question."What do you want to be when you grow up?". I wanted to be an Inventor, someone like Doc from Back to the Future with the mad genius mentality and enthusiasm. To have the technology from Spy Kids and abilities like Inspector Gadget. As I grew up, I watched creators like Mark Rober, The Backyard Scientist, maybe a bit too much of Electroboom. All are people who love sharing their passion of creation and engineering on YouTube. It was those creators (and the making of my first couple creations in high school), which led to my pursuit of engineering at Virginia Tech. and now, I have graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Energy and Power Systems. It has continued to spark the "What if's." of my mind with how we can help to make the world a better place. In addition to my creation endeavors, I hope to impact energy and power industries globally. Increase efficiency of our infrastructure or enable easier integration with renewable energy generation. Being apart of the discussion on all different forms of energy generation.
