About Jack Morphett

I’m a qualified electrician from Australia with experience across large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including high-rise buildings, hospitals, shopping centres and marine constructions. My background spans lighting, power, distribution, mechanical & controls — giving me a strong foundation in diverse electrical disciplines. After moving to Canada, I built a career in the Ski/Resort industry, completing a diploma in Ski Resort Operations & Management and working my way up to Lift Supervisor at multiple resorts such as Sunshine Village in Banff & Sun Peaks Resort. Leading a team of 80 employees taught me valuable skills in leadership, training, team building, progressive discipline and operational efficiency. Currently, I’m an Electrical Estimator with Western Pacific Enterprises in Vancouver. I price tenders ranging from to $5M, applying the Canadian Electrical Code and National Building Code of Canada, with success. Also collaborating closely with project managers on their project’s handover from the awarded estimate and assisting with the projects change management. Proficient in estimating software such as Accubid Anywhere and Bluebeam, I take pride in delivering accurate, detailed work that supports project success. I’m self-driven, and thrive in both team-based and independent environments. My goal is to keep growing my technical and management expertise, contribute to innovative projects, and be a reliable asset to my team and organisation. I pride myself on being adaptable and solutions-focused, approaching challenges with determination and sound judgment.
