About Jack Orwin

Following a number of part time service industry roles, graduation from Sheffield Hallam University with a first class honours in BSc Geography and two years as a health insurance claims consultant at AVIVA, I joined Kada in September 2021. I am skilled in quantitative & qualitative research and analysis, economic & social value impact analysis, and managing evaluations, strategies, and policy recommendations. I also lead on economic profiling of local economies and play a prominent role in reviews of best practice. I have worked on a variety of economic development projects and skills plans, for clients including local authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships and universities. I have extensive experience of evaluating what works and assessing impact pieces, having undertaken significant reviews of ERDF and CRF programmes. Since the exit from the European Union I have supported the production of two UK Shared Prosperity and one Rural Prosperity fund bid as well as the evaluation of several UKSPF programmes. My experience ranges from areas such as skills, employment, digital connectivity and inclusion, and encompasses baseline analysis and research, strategy and action planning and monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment.
