A quote to live by:"Being an entrepreneur is like eating glass and staring into the abyss of death"- Elon Musk. When Elon Musk said this, he wasn't lying. Being an entrepreneur has given me some of the best, and some of the worst moments of my life, but I wouldn't trade the life of an entrepreneur for anything. As Vitris continues to grow, I hope to continue creating a meaningful impact in the local community and give back to Temple University. In my free time, I volunteer for Big Brother Big Sisters in the Entrepreneurs Beyond School Walls program. Mentoring entrepreneurially minded students from George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science located just off Temple's campus. I graduated from Temple's Fox School of Business in 2018 with a degree in Management Informations Systems. During my tenure at Temple University I founded Vitris (https://tryvitris.com). Vitris is a digital marketing platform for small service based businesses that automates certain key tasks that improve digital presence and increase conversions through the business' website. Part of the platform is a marketplace where business owners can efficiently request various marketing initiatives that are affordably fulfilled by skilled contractors. Vitris' proprietary artificial intelligence analyzes the impact of these initiatives to provide human-friendly feedback and suggestions for business owners. I credit my time at Temple with helping in almost every aspect of Vitris' growth over the past 4 years. The programs and faculty provided invaluable connections within the Philadelphia community, and acted as advisors during the early stages. In the Spring of 2017, Vitris placed first in the undergraduate track of Temple University’s renowned Be Your Own Boss Bowl Competition, raising in capital. An unforgettable experience that to this day was a major turning point in the company's short history.
