Work closely with Design Engineering for manufacturing ability of newly designed concept parts for cost and ease on machining. Create fixtures and CNC mill programs for our horizontal milling centers, also machine parts/fixtures on our manual mills and engine lathes. Create laser programs and trouble shoot laser problems and train operator's in the operation of the lasers, Trained in Kaizen and have participated in and lead Kaizen events in many of our other plants and 2 second lean in my home plant. Train and supervise new programmers in proper machining methods and trouble shooting CNC code. I also do some IT support as needed in our plant.
