With 35 years of litigation experience, Jack W. Reed has assisted large and small businesses in the construction industry with practical and legal questions arising from participation in federal, state, local and private procurement contracts. Jack’s unique and extensive experience in contract terms and conditions, contract performance and regulatory compliance, insurance and risk management, and dispute resolution, compared with many lawyers, provides a results-driven approach for Woodbury Corporation backed by a wealth of experience. Prior to joining Richards Brandt Miller Nelson, Jack was a partner in three law firms working with clients to enhance contract performance, avoid project disputes, and to resolve unavoidable disputes. He assisted in drafting and implementing contract terms and conditions, counselled clients on issues ranging from bid protests to terminations for default, and represented businesses in the construction industry before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Currently, Jack’s clients span the entire segment of businesses in the construction industry, from locally-based contractors and subcontractors to nationally based suppliers of materials and equipment for a wide variety of projects, allowing him to successfully meet his clients’ needs regardless of their profession or trade.
