About Jack Robertson

I am an undergraduate honors student at Villanova University and a Presidential Scholar with a passion for business, accounting, and finance. I was the valedictorian at Saint John Vianney High School with a 4.8 GPA. During high school, I was enrolled in the Early College Academy and earned an Associate Degree in Social Science from Brookdale Community College. I served as Captain of the Varsity Cross Country, Winter Track, and Spring Track teams, and was the Founder, Secretary, and on the Board of Directors of the school's Investment Club. I was a member of the Saint Jude Leadership Society, Key Club, Military Support Club, and Peer Tutoring. Each summer, I have worked as a full time camp counselor where I strengthened many interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. I have had the privileged opportunity to organize donation drives for such causes as Soles 4 Souls and Angelic Health (serving hospice patients). My passion will always be volunteering for Network 21 (servicing children with Down Syndrome). That organization has helped me cultivate many practical skills and strengthen my compassion, patience, tolerance, and inclusive approach to all situations. I recently won second place at an entrepreneurial competition where my team and I pitched our unique idea, SafeSert to a panel of judges from the University of Delaware. SafeSert is a product that is designed to significantly reduce kitchen fires, using a wireless infrared camera to detect and extinguish heat sources. We also competed at the University of Delaware EntreXLab Horn Entrepreneurship competition. This experience has expanded my passion for entrepreneurship and reinforced my determination and persistence to succeed in all that I do.
