About Jack Rowe

As a communication studies major with a concentration in public relations at James Madison University, I am passionate about crafting effective messaging that resonates with target audiences. My experience as an Account Executive at Bluestone Communications has allowed me to collaborate with local clients to develop strategic communication plans, conduct research, and execute successful campaigns. Additionally, as a Marketing Intern at Blue Ridge Bank, I worked on various projects such as social media content creation, corporate communications efforts, and promotional media production for B2B and B2C relations. In my academic pursuits, I have taken coursework that has expanded my understanding of the field of public relations. For example, in Advanced Public Relations Writing, I honed my writing skills by crafting various forms of written content such as press releases, media kits, public service announcements, and newsletters using AP Style. In Campaign Research Methods, I gained insight into the principles and techniques used in public relations research by designing a comprehensive research campaign proposal. Outside of my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in the Public Relations Student Society of America, where I attend professional development workshops, participate in networking opportunities, and gain first-hand experience with future employers. I am also the Recruitment Chair for Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, where I lead a committee to plan and execute the recruitment process for the Omega Epsilon Chapter at James Madison University. As an Eagle Scout, I completed all necessary requirements for Scouting's highest rank after years of hard work and determination. Through planning, raising funds, and executing an Eagle Scout service project, I constructed two bicycle maintenance stations and a bench at West Creek Business Park in Goochland, VA.
