About Jack Samuels

Born and raised in California, I presently live in Los Angeles. I am passionate about sports and helping others. My skills are in sales and connecting with people. My first sales experience was at Buckle, a clothing store in Austin, Texas where I was a top sales associate. Upon returning to LA, I worked for Spectrum selling cable, phone, wifi and cellular service door to door to residential customers. After achieving success as a top sales representative in my El Segundo office, I moved to The Sunpro Companies where I currently work as a client advocate. In this capacity, I work with homeowners to complete the residential solar energy sales transactions for potential clients that have either changed their minds or have experienced difficulty in closing the sale and installation. My sales skills are reflected in my ability to engage a customer, understand their needs/goals and ultimately provide the products and services to meet these goals. As a sales advocate, I work with multiple software programs, bankers and technicians to solve wide ranging issues preventing completion of a sale or installation. I currently work remotely and would ultimately like to progress to a sales job offering remote and office work allowing me to engage with and learn from my co-workers. I've had a life long passion for sports, both as a participant and spectator. I participated in baseball, basketball, and wrestling throughout high school and continue to enjoy playing with friends as well as watching sports and engaging in sports history and trivia. My second passion is in helping other people which has grown from my involvement in recovery for the last six years. I attend AA meetings regularly, have administrative responsibilities at several meetings each week and lead panels every two months at treatment centers throughout Los Angeles. I sponsor several young men in recovery and find helping, motivating and encouraging people to live their best life very rewarding. Helping others without expecting anything in return is a personal motivator and source of great joy. Ultimately I hope to help make someone else's life better while helping to better my own. I hope to join my passion for helping others with my sales skills by selling products/services that I truly believe in to help customers fulfill their needs and goals.
