About Jack Steed

I am an Accounting major in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; I'm scheduled to graduate in May 2027. My greatest strength is my persistent work ethic because I always strive to put forth the most effort no matter the task. Where some people may be discouraged about daunting challenges, I view them as ways to improve upon current skillsets or gain exposure into new areas of discipline. In my time outside of school, I work a serving job at a restaurant where I work with all types of customers and train other employees as well. In the future, I see myself working in a field where I can optimize the traits I am strong in and improve upon weaknesses. I hope to have gained additional leadership skills at the University of Tennessee in order to lead and manage others around me. I aim to gain experience in the different facets of the accounting/finance world to find what truly fits my skillset. I strive to be the person that is known for a tireless work ethic and a positive mindset that is cohesive in a team environment.
