About Jack Swann

I am a recent graduate of Montana State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, and a focus on lodging and facilities. My studies concentrated on areas in the restaurant, event, and hotel industries and drafting business plans, creating integrated marketing plans, and business analysis through statistics. During my four years at Montana State, I participated in multiple internships in Montana's travel and tourism industry, including The Lark Motel and The Yellowstone Club. While at The Lark, I spent the internship working in multiple positions, including front desk, valet, and housekeeping departments while also shadowing the General Manager, gaining a thorough understanding of the motel's operations. As a senior, I participated in an internship with The Yellowstone Club, where I was an Assistant Property Manager. In this internship, I focused on assisting with optimal member experience and helping with the operation of a portfolio of properties, and the day-to-day implementation of the Yellowstone Club policies, procedures and programs. Additional industry experience includes working at The Kimpton Armory in Downtown Bozeman, as a valet, which further deepened my passion for the hospitality, tourism, and events industry. I have a professional passion for hospitality and tourism, and personal passions for travel, skiing, fly fishing, hiking, camping, and sports. I intend to combine my passions and pursue international opportunities in experiential travel, hospitality, and the entertainment business. Would love to hear from you!
