About Jack Tanenbaum

Jack Tanenbaum is the Director of Multifamily Acquisitions at Southern Waters Capital ("SWC") and focuses his time on sourcing, underwriting, and analyzing multifamily and single family rental portfolios predominantly in Florida and throughout the Sun Belt. Jack graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University before attending the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After graduating from Penn Law, Jack worked as a corporate associate at a prominent NYC law firm. Jack eventually left legal practice to Co-Found a startup where he led operations of a 40 person team and oversaw a 20% month-over-month growth rate. Before arriving at SWC, Jack served as Vice President of a boutique real estate investment firm specializing in value-add multifamily acquisitions. Jack is also a Florida Licensed Real Estate Agent. Jack also serves as a Director of eXacta Global where he helps elite attorneys find their next opportunity. Jack takes a patient, transparent, and bespoke approach to legal recruiting to ensure each candidate is placed in a role and company consistent with their interests and values. As such, he only works with a select few individuals each year to ensure he is able to provide a white glove service.
