A strategic and outcome focused careers and employability professional, with over 10 years’ experience empowering students and graduates. A proven leader of a high-performing team, with a strong track record of transforming careers service provision and delivery within Higher Education; including devising tailored in-curriculum interventions and setting up a centralised university-wide support offer. Previous experience includes contract management and delivering careers guidance and employability skills development programmes within schools, colleges and the local community. Areas of Expertise & Achievements: • Devised and launched the award winning ‘Careers and Employability Curriculum’ within Middlesex University as a flexible, accessible way for academic colleagues to embed progressive employability and practice-based modules within taught programmes. Recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award (May 2024) • Founder of Gradstock careers and employment festival (‘the careers fair with a twist’), attended by over students and 300 industry guests since launch in 2018. Adopted by international campuses in Dubai and Mauritius due to success of the brand. • Co-led on research and formalising of the university’s new Graduate Competencies (skills for the future world of work) that underpin the learning outcomes for students across the academic portfolio. • Conceptualised and delivered a careers programme with exclusive internship opportunities for final year BA Business Management cohort, contributing to back-to-back improved NSS scores in 2023 and 2024. • Recipient of the Outstanding Commitment to Student Employability award in 2019.
