About Jack Wheatstone

I am a Solicitor working in Public M&A/ECM with a focus on Corporate Governance at King & Wood Mallesons, having previously worked in financial services regulation. Alongside my role, I am involved in Owl Advisory by KWM, KWM's newly launched compliance and governance risk offering. My expertise spans advising clients on a wide range of legislative and regulatory frameworks within the corporate and financial services sectors, complemented by my background in financial services regulation. Furthermore, I bring valuable deal experience in asset and aviation financing, IPOs, and equity capital raising. As part of the Graduate Program, I also completed a rotation in the Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution team. I graduated with my Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Media (PR & Advertising) from UNSW in 2021, where I gained further experience in marketing, people management, and equity, diversity, and inclusivity policy advisory. I have a keen interest in working in the increasingly stringent and ever-changing regulatory landscape in Australia's legal system, assisting clients to navigate the complex regulatory, risk, and compliance issues that they encounter in their daily operations.
