About Jack Yi

Jack is a surgical resident with real-world experience in healthcare entrepreneurship, technology commercialization, and clinical validation of novel medical devices. Most recently, he is conducting translational research in animal models to improve current surgical treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, and assisting in surgical device validation trials at Washington University in St. Louis. He previously founded a nutrition start-up, Blend to Mend, to deliver high-impact nutrition to cancer patients actively receiving therapy via an affordable B2C model. Additional experiences include collaborating with Vanderbilt's Tech Transfer office on finding product market fit for evolving laparoscopic technologies, and validating new Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography devices at USC.
