About Jack Young

I am a senior at Cornell University majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minoring in Computer Science, and am working at Siemens Digital Industries Software on the Computer Architecture team for Parasitic Extraction, where we work to optimize the analysis of analog and digital electrical networks from the level of the PCB to the semiconductor. I have a broad range of interests including systems programming, machine learning, data science, and electrical engineering. At Siemens I am able to explore these topics in depth, and am excited to grow my skill set further as I continue my journey developing high performance software for the analysis of electrical systems. I enjoy brainstorming for problem solving, implementing efficient solutions, and exploring the world of applied industry software. I am grateful for the opportunity to apply my knowledge to challenging problems and work towards developing efficient and productive systems, and am very proud to be involved in a project which enables the production of exciting new technology.
