Background

About Jackie Bardelli

I hold a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Queensland, and have extensive managerial experience with a record of achievement within government, predominantly specialising in program development and grants management, rolling out high priority initiatives across a range of social investments. I have been the recipient of numerous awards in the USA for the development of an innovative diversionary youth program (Teen Court) for first time juvenile offenders, in which I managed the initial stages of researching, planning, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating the program (see resume). I take great pride that this grass roots program continues to be successful after being implemented nearly 20 years ago. My current key responsibilities include managing and coordinating the administration of grant funding including assessments, approvals and contracts, as well as, the overall program development, implementation and review of programs and policies in terms of effectiveness of funding models, compliance to program guidelines/performance measures and continued financial investment for the Early Childhood and Community Engagement Division, DET, totaling over $150 million per annum.
