About Jackie Barnes

I am naturally a very driven and hard-working person. The environment in a veterinary clinic is one that is fast paced and requires you to be quick on your feet in stressful situations. This is a structure that I have grown to work very well in and also thoroughly enjoy. I tend to possess leadership qualities and like to step up and lead when need be, but in the same aspect I participate well in a setting where I am not the leader. I have always been organized and fairly structured, but if there are changes that need to be made I easily adjust to the alteration. I have worked at a veterinary clinic for 5 summers now and also worked during the school year while I was in high school. My position would be considered an assistant, so there was a range of duties and responsibilities that I have. Some of those include: maintaining and organizing the workspaces, aiding the vet and tech preforming surgery for the day with whatever they needed, assisting with patients in the rooms, and operating the front desk on occasion by scheduling appointments and checking out customers. I am willing to preform any task that is needed in order to help keep the environment operating smoothly and customers happy.
