About Jackie Bowker

I am an accomplished voice over artist, presenter, emcee and voice over coach working with a diverse and dynamic range of local, domestic and international clients across all disciplines. My training is significant and includes learnings from Channel 7 Studios, Harvard online and the Australian Institute of Music (AIM). My clients include ANZ Bank, British Paints, Virgin Airlines, Rio Tinto, Bonds, Cancer Council and local, regional and international tourism organisations, amongst others. I am regularly given the opportunity to present segments for Channel 7’s The Morning Show and Channel 9s Today Extra for Australian Broadcast TV, memorising scripts, reading off dual autocues, working with co-presenters and presenting in commercial television studios. I am represented by Glass Management for commercial and lifestyle modelling work and thrive working in the studio environment with photographers, art directors and creative agencies. My coaching work involves the development and facilitation of On Mic Academy™, a self-paced online course for aspiring voice over artists. My voice over work is mostly done from my home studio on a Rode NTG-2 shotgun microphone with a Focusrite Scarlet Solo Interface. I am experienced in delivering information from an autocue, memorised lines or ad-libbing and am comfortable and capable in commercial studios, live-directed sessions and piece-to-camera work. I'm a natural communicator through both screen and audio with an air of warmth and authenticity bringing my passion and expertise to every job I work on.
