Hello! I'm Jackie Ferris, a dedicated social-emotional mentor on a mission to empower young minds and create positive transformations. With a unique journey that started in the dynamic world of radio broadcasting, where I held roles in the promotion departments for major radio stations, I discovered my true passion lied in helping individuals find happiness and well-being. Transitioning from the fast-paced radio industry, I pursued higher education at the University of Guelph, where I delved into the fields of Psychology and Fine Art. This academic foundation ignited my interest in understanding human behavior, and after graduation, I found my calling while volunteering as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. My journey of growth led me to launch Comrade Morpho, a transformative mentoring program that bridges my background in creating and delivering listener-engaging promotions and my unwavering commitment to personal development. Guided by the principles of developmental relationships, I provide a safe and nurturing space for teens and young adults struggling with challenges such as anxiety, depression, and social hurdles to flourish. Through consistent 1-on-1 sessions, I empower mentees to overcome obstacles, challenge negative thoughts, and develop essential life skills.
