About Jackie Layng

I'm passionate about empowering others to unlock their full potential through coaching, mentoring, training and education. Whether it's building clinical skills, developing innovative education programs, or supporting young leaders, my goal is the support and advance the veterinary profession and its people. Outside of my professional life, I'm a keen biker - a passion I discovered later in life. During a year-long motorbike adventure, I created a YouTube travel channel that reached monetization status in under a year, documenting my journey. This experience taught me the power of perseverance and embracing a growth mindset. I'm not naturally brave or naturally talented in anything, but I have learned to never let that hold me back. My journey, from GP vet, to referral orthopaedic surgeon to being appointed CVO of Ireland's fastest-growing independent veterinary practice, has shown me that anything is possible with determination and belief. I firmly believe that people possess unlimited potential, often held back only by limiting beliefs about their abilities or circumstances. Through my commitment to coaching and personal development, I aim to empower others to overcome these barriers, embrace growth, and achieve their happiest, most fulfilled selves.
