About Jackie Moore
I came into social work later in life. Life experiences drew me to this profession and after graduating university in my mid 40's with a Bachelor of Social Work degree I jumped right into working with people living with mental health and substance use issues and who were housing deprived. This fast became a passion and cause. Being a voice for the marginalized, victimized and traumatized had been both an honor and a challenge. I look forward to my next chapter working with the aged and their caregivers as they navigate the work of dementia, also a passion. I continue to support housing deprived folks in London and Elgin County as it remains a journey I cannot turn my back on.
