About Jackie Rayfield

I started my work career early in life. I left high school early, but I did go back and finish which is one of my proudest moments in my life. I started at a local Food Lion in Concord NC as the frozen food clerk, I was with the company for almost two years. I decided then that I wanted more and went into the fence construction field mostly residential, but around a year later the worked really slowed and I was let go. I got recommended for HVAC and I went on to learning the ins and outs of being a helper. I base a lot of my work development on that job. The job itself was great but still being in my younger stage of life I wanted more on my personal life and made a big move away from my hometown to start a new life. My management career started here where I started at an entry level shipping employee and progressed to leadman, then supervisor at an ink production company. I was and still am a very passionate person when it comes to getting a job done right and on time. There I learned how to operate a Forklift both electric and LP gas, stand up and sit down, I learned the procedures and the importance of logistics. I also learned the importance of compassion of humans along with comradery within a department and a company which has helped my career tremendously as well. I was with the company for around seven years when the family-owned business decided to sell, by that time I had settled into a job behind a desk. The company that bought us out already had in house folks just like myself and in the end, I was around the nineth person that was laid off from their position. I took many things from that job from leadership to the knowledge of safety in a warehouse, how to operate and maintain industrial equipment, organization and the term of "Everything has a home" but I think the most important was the maturing of me as an adult with the help of the plant manager and the ten to thirteen guys that helped me every day get the numerous containers of ink out that hot/cold warehouse. I moved back to my hometown and was asked to help my brother one weekend which led me to the petroleum construction industry in which I have progressed even more with the learning of operating small and heavy equipment (skid steer, both mini and large excavator, backhoe etc.) I have progressed with my leadership abilities and the understanding of job safety. I left there and moved to Florida with another company which leads us to today and ever-changing industry.
