About Jackie Walker

I am a hardworking, driven, and organised person who is currently working as a member of the AskIT Team for AstraZeneca in the roll of Campus/Onsite Support. This user support position is a customer focused desktop, network, and onsite support role for supporting users both within the company Head Office and Manufacturing facility while also maintaining onsite equipment such as network and Audio-Visual hardware. The role has varying levels of Information Technology user abilities and understanding. I am eager to learn new skills and have reached the point where I would like to further myself both personally and professionally. Prior to AstraZeneca I was working for DHL Supply Chain as an Information Technology Area Co-Ordinator (ITAC). This was a customer facing desktop and onsite support role that gave me the opportunity to work with and assist users with all levels of technical abilities from all areas of the company ranging from warehouse floor users to VP and High-End managers. My team consisted of 8 members that were spread across Sydney, Queensland and Melbourne. We all worked together both remotely and onsite using a web-based ticketing queue to address and resolve request and incident tickets that were raised by the users in accordance with the required SLA depending on the priority level of the ticket. Aside of our day-to-day support duties we would also have extra tasks known as project work. These projects ranged from Customer Agency moves between sites or within sites, Asset management programs such as UPS service schedules, onsite hardware audits and new site setups.
