I am currently in my fourth year at University of Virginia, and am pursuing a MS in Statistics after completing a double-major in Computer Science and Mathematical Statistics (3+1).I have a strong interest in finance, and I am a member of the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) at UVA. In AIF, I participate in two subgroups: relative value and risk. In the relative value group, we focus on more traditional investment strategies whereas within the risk analysis group, the focus is on risk mitigating approaches. Another passion of mine is volunteering, and I have been coaching a 3rd grade flag football team for the past 3 years at UVA through Madison House.I was a serious AAU and varsity basketball player in High School, being awarded the Miami Herald Scholar Athlete award at the conclusion of my senior year.
