About Jackson Cyr

I’ve always been driven by a desire to help others, whether through teaching, guiding, or providing clarity in moments of uncertainty. Coupled with my fascination for the economy, markets, and government, this motivation has shaped every role I’ve taken on, from mentoring students and supporting peers, to assisting clients in managing and optimizing their financial lives. Outside the classroom, I apply these skills in client-facing roles. At 2Communiqué, I assist with financial management, monitoring client profitability, and bookkeeping to improve operational efficiency. As a Part-Time Account Associate at Flynn Family Office, I support clients by managing invoices, analyzing and constructing financial statements, and facilitating transactions to meet their business and personal objectives. In addition, I serve as a Resident Assistant at American University, fostering an inclusive and supportive community, and as a Teaching & Research Assistant for Business Finance (FIN-365), where I help students master key finance topics such as valuation, capital markets, and modern financial theory. In both my financial and community roles, I’ve seen how a strong, supportive culture can amplify outcomes and create lasting value, not just for organizations but for the people they serve. These experiences have reinforced my belief that meaningful impact begins with a genuine commitment to helping others. Whether guiding clients, mentoring students, or building community, I approach every challenge with collaboration, optimism, and discipline, always viewing it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and support others.
